Ella-phant

What a difference a day makes! We've been singing the hallelujah chorus this morning. First of all, miss Ellie slept from, get ready, 10:45 til 3:45 last night and then went right back to sleep with no fussing from 4 to 7:30 and then again from 7:50 to 10:30. It was wonderful. And when she woke up she was feeling like this:

Maybe she just needed some sleep too! : ) And now we are having tummy time, which we really need to do more often because it is more like face-plant time for poor Ella.

We'll keep working on it.

The other exciting thing that happened this morning is that while Ella was sleeping in luxuriously, I took all the 3-6 month clothes that I washed for the first time yesterday out of the dryer, and they fit! It's a whole new world for Ella (ok for me). Amazingly her newborn things are really getting too small already, especially with her huge cloth-diaper bottom. But all we really had for that stage was pink onesies. We are now looking forward to incorporating green, blue, more brown and some very exciting patterns into the works. Today we did stick to pink, but I love the elephant pattern. Today she is my little Ella-phant. Sorry, couldn't resist! Check out the spread:

Uh-oh. Looks like I'm posting from Dad's blog. It's really Gramma.
